HISTORY The Farm Castel Ruggero Pellegrini Castel Ruggero is 15km far from the center of Florence, an area that has always been at the center of the men’s care. The Alamanni resided between ‘400 and ‘600: not only Piero Alamanni, an eminent politician and ambassador of the Florentine Republic (celebrated its embassy at Gian Galeazzo Visconti in 1487), but also the even more illustrious son of him, Luigi Alamanni. This extraordinary man, a great humanist and poet of even greater fame, was historian and politician of deep devotion Republican.
