PRODUCTIONS The Farm Castel Ruggero Pellegrini The main product that is made in our territory is the oil dop chianti classico Ruggente, our nationally and internationally renowned ambassador of castel Ruggero Pellegrini, thanks to the various awards. At the farm we also have a large area of ??vineyards Chianti Classico, that we cultivate with great care. The grapes arent vinified by us, because we do not have our own winery, but they are collected from a cooperative of farmers very active in the area. The farm Castel Ruggero Pellegrini can also count on apartments available for hospitalty ant stays that allow you to live close to our beautiful ancient city, Florence, but at the same time residing in the countryside, in the Chianti shire. You can then taste the local products, enjoying extraordinary views. One of the activity integrated into farm management is hunting, especially pheasant’s hunt with the help of the dog. The license we have, “agrituristico venatoria”, allow us to make repopulation of native species at risk of disappearing from our environment. In fact, our entries of animals, raised in the area and certificated, always surpass to a large extent the reductions. Then we repopulate... making hunting. A little magic in Castel Ruggero! But our most important product, what we love most, and what we work for, is our landscape, built by farming through the ages, that we keep with great passion and sacrifice.
